Casual CASUAL are a band formed in Barcelona in 1999 by Mon a la Cova (voice and letters), Erickq23 (guitar and second voices), Jordi Du (bass) and the new arrived Jordi Farreras (drums). On they seven years history: A great number of concerts in Spain,
a recent tour around Germany and to have its songs distributed by
more than ten compilations discs in some countries, in addition to
a coleción of excellent The indie label Flor y Nata Records, in its line to catch new talents and to bet by groups with bold and interesting sounds, issue the new disc of CASUAL, a CD-EP with the title of "La Nova Medicina", the fourth disc of his discography, one year latter from the last succes of “Hores Lentes” (Slow Hours). This new was recorded in Salt (Girona) by Lluis Costa (former Kitsch and Adriá Puntí). A STEEP AHEAD INTO THE ROCK The new songs are full of energy and fresh air, without losing the dark tone of long ago, but letting advance to the rock towards sounds poper than they remember Placebo, The Cure or to a stoner rock of Queens of the Stone Age. The group has taken a step but ahead, gaining dynamism and maturity. One is a powerful return, that knows to rock when it is necessary and that it combines forcefulness perfectly, psichedelics touchs and the dark of bottom in a unique amalgam in this country. from 90's and 00's, with a base in CASUAL: COMPLEXITY OF SHADES IN THE LIMIT OF THE ACCEPTABLE THING In its own words: "CASUAL music looks for the complexity of the shades in the simple thing, a game of lights and shades, combining the forcefulness of the hard rock, the intensity of the punk, psichedelia of the creative atmosphere groups and the dark líric of artists who move in the limits of the acceptable thing". This new CD have the songs: “Western Mediterrani”, “Insomni Generacional” (Generational Insomnia), “La Nova Medicina” (The New Medicine), “Un punt en el mapa” (A point in the map) and “S.S.S.” In addition to the five new songs, in which a certain oniric tone
