LIGRE : A DIFFERENT FEELING THAT STILL YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIMENTED
The kind listening of a LIGRE disc is a experience that does not leave indifferent, like the feline del that takes their name, are the result of a mixture, a crossing of influences that according to same them goes from Lennon and McCartney to Belle & Sebastian, happening through Brian Wilson, Byrds, Kinks, Neil Young, Love or Blur and leaving to us the strictly musical thing, Gaudí, Stanley Kubrick, Richard Lester, the Marx Brothers or even The Muffets. To listen Ligre is..... a different feeling that still you have not experimented.

A SHORT STORY
The band was formed in Elche (Spain) in September of 2000, the two first years happen defining the formation that finishes being a quartet, outlining a sound that it identifies to them, recording several demos and acting with frequency.
On December 2002 and with the demo "Retorno a los bosques" LIGRE they begin to call the attention of musical press as. Rock of Lux, Toxicosmos and El Pais de las Tentaciones that catalogues to them like one of the best new bands. With the next one "Tu Voz Cansada", press keep on being encouraging: "Average dozen of beautiful songs that, delicately fixed, adhere to the listener thanks to addictive melodies and to a pompous and distinguished instrumentation" (monocromo.org). During 2003 they are finalists of the constest Villa de Bilbao and 3º place of the Ampli of Barcelona, they play with the Californian band The Tyde in Valencia, and with The Sunday Drivers and Fangoria among others.

“EL DESASTRE DE SER INDIE”, Mini CD ISSUED BY FLOR Y NATA RECORDS
Recorded in Barcelona and produced by Manel Ibáñez (Les Tres Bien Ensemble) and Gerard P. Civat. Flor y Nata Records publish the first official Mini CD of Ligre, a collection of eight songs that take the title from the one of them "EL DESASTRE DE SER INDIE" (DISASTER OF BEING INDIE) like generic, indeed the one of the song that will serve like 1st single. Eight songs are single, but each one is a world in if same, is difficult not to let itself catch by the magic of "Tumbados" or by the atmosphere of "Todavia es pronto" that in addition it will still appear in a compilation named “Tentaciones Indies”.

Eight small jewels, each one with own personality in which to small winks or tributes to their favorite artists and groups can be guessed, details that also extend to the cover that is to be observed with attention the small details that give useful tracks to the hour to listen to the disc.
